NEWBORN SESSION
Newborn sessions are truly an incredible method of encapsulating the enchanting narrative of welcoming your precious baby into this world. Every intricate detail, from their dainty feet and toes to their tiny hands, sweet pouts, and delicate eyelashes, is tenderly preserved. Over the course of a decade, I have honed my skills in newborn photography, mastering the ideal room temperature, soothing sounds, gentle wrapping methods, and secure handling techniques to seamlessly navigate each session without causing to much disruption to your little one. This process takes dedication, affection, and a considerable amount of understanding and care.
Your session inclusions
I allow 2 – 4 hours for your session to ensure it’s a relaxed experience with plenty of time for feeds & cuddles between photos.
Use of all my newborn props.
Solo & family photos - We aim to do a few different set ups of bubs alone as well as family photos (including different combinations/siblings)
A social media sneak peek from your session
A private online gallery for you to view the images
10 digital images (of your choice)
Investment $460
Extra images on top of your package are $25 each digital images or $230 for 10 digital images
Location options
You have the choice of my home studio in Crib Point or the comfort of your home.
My home photography studio provides a range of options for your session. You can choose classic formal portraits against a simple backdrop, or opt for a more laid-back vibe with settings like a white brick wall or a textured beige wall. There's also a cozy bed that's perfect for capturing family moments or sweet sibling shots, along with sheer curtains that add a touch of natural, casual charm to your photos.
Sessions at your home its just an extra $50 travel fee.
Extra information to keep in mind
No outfits fits a baby well – Luckily I have a range of newborn props I have collected over the years – little hats, dainty headbands, blankets, baskets & wraps in a range of different colours to suit your taste, style & bubs skin tone. Before your session I find out what colours, photo styles, poses & accessories you like then when you arrive you can pick from a range of looks I have pre put together for you !! You are also welcome to bring along your own keep sakes – it may be a special toy or a knit from a family member!
The best time for newborn sessions is in the first 5 – 10 days as this is when newborns are most settled & can be moved around with ease. I get you to let me know your due date so I can have time set aside for you then I get you to contact me when bubs has arrived so we can lock in a day in the coming days. The most important thing is that you are bubs are ready for the session, if that happens to be after the 10 days that is completely fine – the most important things is the health of mum & bubs.
Most of my clients are new to being photographed & can be a-little uncomfortable in the spotlight! My goal is to make families/couples feel as relaxed as possible so their personalities & happiness shines through via encouraging you to have fun while interacting with bubs.
$200 is due to lock in your session. The remainder is due on the day of the session.
