Thank you for choosing me to capture your little bundle of joy!

HERE IS EVERY THING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR NEWBORN SESSION!

Some suggestions for the day

-Please bring along anything you would take on a normal outing.

-Bathing baby before the session to remove any loose skin -

-It's best to feed your baby right before you leave or when you arrive at the session - we want them to be as sleepy as possible for the photos, this makes it easier to move him/her around into adorable poses with out being woken.

-Every baby handles the session different.. some bubs sleep the whole session - it's more common for most bubs to be alittle unsettled at some points during the session, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, so no need to stress if bubs is alittle unsettled! I allow plenty of time so we can feed and sooth bubs between shots.

-It's also a good idea to bring bubs in an outfit or wrap that can be easily removed with out waking him/her - hopefully bubs falls asleep in the car & we start the session with them becoming unsettled.

-I start babies wrapped up all nice and tightly, with some white noise & a nice warm room. The session progresses depending on what bubs will allow - All babes handle the session differently.

I have a range of different props, wraps & accessories - we can go through options at the start of the session - I will send you over a link to a styling question-air to find out your preferences ) you are welcome to bring along your own keep sakes to use in the photos if you like.

I have the studio nice and warm so feel free to dress in layers so you don't over heat.

Please allow 2-4 hours for the session as bubs will most likely need milk & soothing/cuddles between set ups.

Ideally I aim to do a few different outfits/setups then family shots. I allow up to 4 hours but you are free to let me know when you think bubs has had enough.

Family Photos outfits & tips

I love neutrals because they are classic and timeless, which is probably what you want out of your photos. So keep it simple and effortless.

Dark clothing can be slimming in real life, however on camera it adds weight.

Light clothing can be airy and fresh. It can bring a beautifully simple touch Think crisp white shirts, breezy white dresses and beige linen pants.

Don’t be afraid to add some color to the neutral look - greens, brown & mustards look great with beige!

+ Make sure everyone has had their hair cut and have neat and tidy hair. If you are dying your hair or putting on tan, be sure to do it a few days before the session so you have time to do corrections if need be.

+ Treat yourself and get your hair and makeup done. If you are doing it yourself thats great too. Feel free to bring a little mirror & some lipstick/powder to freshen up during the session!

+ Remember those little details like blending your make up along yours jaw, avoiding fake tan on your hands & creases, clean finger nails, smoothing stray hairs (its a good idea to bring a hair brush) specially on a windy day!

+ Don’t forget water & snacks!! Specially over the hot summer months!

I look forward to meeting you all on the day of our session
